Reports have come in today that the Rohingya now have to pay for food rations that have been donated to them. The village leaders and those incharge Baw Du Fa,Dabaing, Say Ta Ma Gyi IDP camp (the same camp which the UNHCR had helped the Rohingya to relocate for the cyclone last week) in Sittwe are in full control over whatever is donated to the Rohingya and take full advantage of their power. The Rohingya who were forced to go back the camp after the storms had passed, have very little or nothing to their name and once again have been stripped of yet another right, to have access to food rations which is owed to them. The images below show the food rations being delivered to the IDP camp in Sittwe but not distributed to the Rohingya.
